Second part - Swan Life, 12 Moments of  2012

 

The Angel of the Reeds , The male Mute swan Protecting his cygnets. While the male was stretching the young were with there mother sat next to me and brother in our kayak's filming and feeding them.

One of the Cygnets that dip its beak in the water and had a droplet on its beak and I

also love the background colors it makes the cygnet stand out more. 

I went to one of the places on my local canal where we get about 60 Mute swan , but we have more this year if the juvenile cygnets and adult male and female mute swans. I was stood under the bridge and I saw this word help and I thought i would get a Photo of the swans feeding and the word in the background. In my area we have quite alot of people that go fishing and they leave all there rubbish and hooks on the path where the swan preen and feed.

One of my Cygnets was happy to smile for Camera, with the blurred 

canal boat in the background.

Not one of our Cygnets but there must of been about 15 Juvinile Cgynets 

on the canal path feeding on the grass, But they were not attacking me , because i did there Greeting call so I

could get through past them.
